PUEBLO, Colo. - Kris Lalk (Lakewood, Colo./Green Mountain H.S.) allowed one earned run in eight innings, but Metropolitan State University of Denver fell 3-2 at No. 13 Colorado State-Pueblo on Friday night in Pueblo. The Roadrunners fell to 9-9 overall and 4-5 in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference, while CSUP improved to 18-3 overall and 10-1 in the RMAC with its eighth straight win.
Lalk scattered seven hits and two walks, while striking out nine, but three Roadrunners errors cost MSU Denver.

Darryl Baca (Loveland, Colo./Loveland H.S.) to tie the game at 1-1. Baca put the Roadrunners in front with a solo home run in the seventh.
The ThunderWolves responded with a solo home run in the eighth, but two errors in the ninth inning handed reliever
Josh Moore (Grand Junction, Colo./Grand Junction H.S.) a tough loss.
Mitch Gibbons (Franktown, Colo./Ponderosa H.S.) finished with three hits and
Nick Comito (Lakewood, Colo./Mullen H.S.) had two.
The two teams will play a doubleheader on Saturday.
