COLORADO SPRINGS - Josalyn Martin (Fort Collins, Colo./Fort Collins H.S.) scored for Metropolitan State University of Denver in a 1-1 tie at University of Colorado Colorado Springs on Sunday afternoon. The Roadrunners are now 3-2-1 overall and 0-1-1 in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference, while UCCS is 4-1-1 and 1-0-1.
Martin scored in the 45th minute, 32 seconds before halftime.
Elise Boisnard (Denver, Colo./Wheat Ridge H.S.) earned the assist on the play.
Lo Vyvlecka scored for UCCS in the 58th minute and the proved to be the final goal of the game.
Breanna Flores (Gilbert, Ariz./Gilbert H.S.) played all 110 minutes in goal for the Roadrunners and made six saves. UCCS outshot MSU Denver 27-to-18.
The Roadrunners host Colorado Christian at 4:30 p.m. on Friday at The Regency Athletic Complex.
