DENVER - Richard Garvey scored 3:35 into overtime to give No. 19 Colorado School of Mines a 1-0 victory over Metropolitan State University of Denver. The Roadrunners fell to 4-2-1, and the Orediggers improved to 5-0-1. 

The winning goal by Garvey came three and a half minutes into OT on a centering pass from Ryan Blarr. The game was evenly matched throughout regulation, with both teams having eight shots on goal. Hayden Rus (Gilbert, Ariz./Gilbert H.S.) had seven saves for the Roadrunners in his sixth game this season. 

The Roadrunners host Colorado Christian University at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday.
