ST. GEORGE, Utah - Metropolitan State University of Denver allowed four first-half goals as the Roadrunners fell 5-2 at Dixie State on Friday night in St. George, Utah. The loss snapped a streak of eight consecutive wins for MSU Denver in season-opening games.
Dustin Berg (Castle Rock, Colo./Douglas County H.S.) netted both goals for the Roadrunners, scoring the first from 20 yards out on a free kick in the 29th minute. His penalty kick in the 66th minute cut the deficit to 4-2.
