Women's soccer: Roadrunners edged 1-0 in double OT by Dallas Baptist

DALLAS, Texas - McKenna Namken scored four minutes into the second overtime to give Dallas Baptist a 1-0 win over Metropolitan State University of Denver on Saturday in Dallas. The Roadrunners fell to 1-1-0, while DBU improved to 2-0-0.

Namken broke a scoreless tie in a game that the Roadrunners outplayed DBU for much of the contest. MSU Denver outshot the Patriots 16-to-11, including 12-for-4 in shots on goal. Sophomore Elise Boisnard (Denver, Colo./Wheat Ridge H.S.) had seven shot attempts and six on goal. All four of Korena Perales (Aurora, Colo./Eaglecrest H.S.)'s shot attempts were on goal as well.

Breanna Flores (Gilbert, Ariz./Gilbert H.S.) made three saves in goal.

MSU Denver will return home on Friday to Cal Poly Pomona at 7 p.m.
