Pueblo, Colo.- The Metropolitan State University of Denver volleyball team remains undefeated after defeating CSU-Pueblo 3-0 Saturday, October 15 in three sets.  The Roadrunners improved to 15-3 overall and 10-0 in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference.  The Thunderwolves fell to 7-12 overall and 5-5 in conference play.
 
MSU Denver swept CSU-Pueblo in three sets to give the Roadrunners the tenth straight win in RMAC play. The Roadrunners took the first set 25-20 led by Senior Michaela Smith (Littleton, Colo./Regis Jesuit H.S.). Smith had 13 kills on the night with 9 digs.
 
MSU Denver took the second 25-20 and the third set 25-17. CSU Pueblo was let by Mariangel Perez with eight kills and 11 digs. Senior Brandi Torr (Albuquerque, N.M./La Cueva H.S.) added 31 assists and 5 digs for the Roadrunners. Junior Ryan Hoerdemann (Littleton, Colo./Arapahoe H.S.) added 8 kills for MSU Denver.
 
The Roadrunners will be return back home Friday, October 21 at 7 p.m. as they take on No.18 Colorado School of Mines.
