Denver- Metropolitan State University of Denver women's tennis team lost to Tarleton State 7-2 at the Regency Athletic Complex on Saturday. Freshman Alex Horton (Arvada, Colo./Pomona H.S.) had the sole MSU Denver singles win, defeating Tarleton's Alex Porter 6-1.

The Roadrunners won one doubles match with sophomores Courtney Wright (Houston, Texas/Memorial H.S.) and Emily Kerr (Winchester, England/Peter Symonds College) winning 8-2 and advancing to 8-2 on the season as a team.  

The Roadrunners fell to 4-12 on the season. They will host CSU-Pueblo on April 8 for their final home conference match of the season.
