Seattle, Wash. – The Metropolitan State University of Denver women's soccer team tied 1-1 with Seattle Pacific on Saturday night.
The Roadrunners fell behind in the first half when Seattle Pacific scored a goal from close range on a crossing pass from two yards out in the 32nd minute. The score would remain 1-0 in favor of Seattle Pacific until midway through the second half. Junior
Elise Boisnard (Denver, Colo./Wheat Ridge H.S.) tied the game at 1-1 off of a crossing pass from freshman Nana Gomez. The goal came in the 65th minute and was the first of the season for Boisnard.

Erica Torres (Bakersfield, Calif./Baskersfield High School) made 13 saves in the game. The Roadrunners managed only two shots on goal for the game; both from Boisnard.
MSU Denver opens Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference play on Friday, September 16 at Colorado School of Mines in Golden, Colo. Game time is set for 7 p.m.
