Denver- The Metropolitan State University of Denver men's soccer team hosts two home games this weekend on September 16 at 6 p.m. against Colorado Mesa and Sunday September 18 at 1 p.m. against Westminster to open up 2016 RMAC competition.
 
MSU Denver traveled to Washington last weekend where they defeated Western Washington 2-1 in the first game and fell at Seattle Pacific 3-1 in the second away game of the 2016 season. Senior 
Josh Belfrage (Highlands Ranch, Colo./Mountain Vista H.S.) scored a goal in both games. The Roadrunners have an overall record of 2-2.
Colorado Mesa is coming off a 1-1 draw against St. Mary's University and a 2-1 loss at No. 7 St. Edwards University. The Mavericks are 1-1-2 overall. Westminster is coming off a 2-1 overtime win against Hawaii Hilo and a 4-1 loss to Northwest Nazarene over the weekend. The Griffins are 1-2 overall.
 
Fans are encouraged to wear gold shoe laces to Friday nights game against Colorado Mesa to receive free admission in honor of Pediatric Cancer Awareness night. The Roadrunners are proud to support local military personnel and are offering free admission for active military members and veterans to Sundays game against Westminster in honor of Military appreciation day.
