Alamosa, Colo.- The Metropolitan State University of Denver volleyball team defeated Adams State 3-0 on Friday, September 23. MSU Denver improves to 8-3 overall & 3-0 in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference. Adams State falls to 7-5 on the season and 2-1 in the RMAC.

Stephanie Laraway (Lakewood, Colo./Lakewood H.S.), who had a .727 hitting percentage. Also putting up big numbers was senior
Michaela Smith (Littleton, Colo./Regis Jesuit H.S.), who was the only attacker to swing for double digit kills at 11.Defensively, junior
Ryan Hoerdemann (Littleton, Colo./Arapahoe H.S.) had six blocks, three solo and three assisted. The Roadrunner's play at the net held Adams State to a .022 hitting percentage. Junior
Jackie Lopez (Encino, Calif./Notre Dame H.S.) had the team high in digs at nine.
The Roadrunners look to remain undefeated in confernce play when finishing the weekend in Durango, where they will face Fort Lewis Saturday, September 24 at 5 p.m.
