Denver- The Metropolitan State University of Denver men's soccer team are on the road this weekend as the travel to Salt Lake City, Utah to take on Westminster and Grand Junction to take on No. 21 Colorado Mesa.

The weekend kicks off Friday, October 20 at 3 p.m. in Salt Lake City, Utah where the Roadrunners look to continue their winning ways against the Westminster Griffins. The action continues Sunday, October 22 at 2:30 p.m. in Grand Junction, Colorado where MSU Denver is set to face the Colorado Mesa Mavericks.

The Roadrunners were perfect at home this past weekend defeating UCCS 2-0 and CSU-Pueblo 3-0. Five different Roadrunners found the back of the net in the weekend double header including leading scorer freshmanÂ
Nils Runnberg (Barsebäck, Sweden/Jensen Education) getting his sixth goal on the year.

James Tanner (Lake Stevens, Wash./Lake Stevens H.S.) now has three clean sheets in his last three games. The Roadrunners are on a three game winning streak and are now 7-7 on the year.

The Griffins are 4-9-1 overall this season and 2-7-1 in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference. The Mavericks are 11-2-1 overall and currently sit in second in the RMAC with a 7-2-1 conference record.Â
