Denver- The Metropolitan State of Denver volleyball team will compete in the first round of the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference tournament against Colorado Mesa on Tuesday, November 14.
 
The Roadrunners defeated the Mavericks 3-1 in both games last week in two impressive victories, one at home and one on the road bringing their overall record to 19-7.
 
In their first meeting with Mesa the Roadrunners lost the first set, but were able to rally three sets in a row propelling them to victory. In their second meeting, this time away, the Roadrunners and the Mavericks went back and forth with plenty of lead changes, but were ultimately able to pull off the 3-1 win.
 
The Roadrunner enter the RMAC tournament receiving votes in the top 25 AVCA poll for three weeks in a row.
 
Tournament play starts at 7 p.m. Tuesday, November 14 against the Mesa State Mavericks at the Auraria Event Center.
