Denver- The Metropolitan State University of Denver men's soccer team (3-6, 3-2 RMAC) fell to Regis University (4-3, 2-3 RMAC) on Friday, September 29.

The Rangers got off to a good start in the game pressuring the Roadrunners defense from the start.

Regis score the first goal of the game in the 27
th minute when a Regis throw in to sail to the head of Will Eslinger who was able to head it into the net.

The Rangers would strike again right before half scoring a goal similar to the first when a ball was sent into the box from a corner for another Ranger to head the ball to the back of the net, sending the game into half with the Rangers up 2-0.

MSU Denver looked for revenge to start the second half scoring an early second half goal to insure the Roadrunners to be still in the game. Freshman
Nils Runnberg (Barsebäck, Sweden/Jensen Education) scored his fourth goal of the season in the 49
th minute winning the ball off the Rangers defense in the box to score near post cutting the score to 2-1.

The Roadrunners were unable to make the full comeback with time expiring and the Rangers on top 2-1.
