Denver- The Metropolitan State University of Denver volleyball team hosts the Colorado Premier Challenge this upcoming weekend in which a total of 12 teams will be competing at host schools, MSU Denver and Regis University.
 
The action kicks off Friday, September 8 at the Auraria Events Center where the Roadrunner's will face No. 6 Angelo State University at 2:30 p.m. and Florida Southern College that evening at 6 p.m. Following pool play, teams will be placed in gold, silver, and bronze brackets to wrap-up competition on Saturday.
 
The Colorado Premier will host some of the best programs in the nation, as eight of the 12 teams are ranked in the top 25 in the AVCA coaches poll. Five of those seven top 25 teams are in the top 10, with the top three all competing at the premier.
