Denver- The Metropolitan State University of Denver Men's Soccer team is set for its 2017 home-opener where the team will face Seattle Pacific University Thursday, September 7 at 6 p.m. The Roadrunners will also host Western Washington on Saturday, September 9 at 6 p.m.  Both games will take place at the Regency Athletic Complex.
 
The Roadrunners kicked of their 2017 season last weekend in Texas where they fell in both games. Both the Roadrunner's losses came by one goal margins, losing 2-1 to St. Edward's University and falling to St. Mary's University was a highly contested game with a final score of 3-4.
 
Seattle Pacific split its first two games falling 2-1 to No. 19 Chico State and defeating Sonoma State 4-1.
 
Western Washington fell in its first two games of the season in overtimes. The Vikings fell 2-1 to Sonoma State and 3-2 to Chico State.
