Denver- The Metropolitan State University of Denver men's basketball team will play its first games of the new year against No. 20 Fort Lewis and Adams State.
 
The Roadrunners will travel to Durango to take on the Skyhawks on Friday, January 5 at 7:30 p.m.  The team will then travel to Adams State Saturday to take on the Grizzlies at 7:30 p.m.
 
The Roadrunners took on Colorado Mesa last Saturday to earn a comeback victory over the Mavericks.  MSU Denver improved to 7-6 overall and 6-1 in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference.
 
Fort Lewis sits on top of the RMAC with an overall record of 11-2 and a conference record of 7-2. Adams State holds an overall record of 7-7 this season and a RMAC record of 5-3.
