SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. – It was another frustrating day for the MSU Denver women's soccer team.
The Roadrunners (1-3) again had a big advantage in shots – 16-8 this time – but they were unable to put one in the net and dropped at 2-0 decision at Cal State San Bernardino.
Through four games, Metropolitan State University of Denver has outshot opponents 75-35 and has 28 shots on goal compared to opponents' 18. However, Roadrunners' foes have put 51.4 percent of their shots on goal, while MSU Denver has had just 37.3 percent on goal.
Paola Morales scored in the 14
th minute, and Jessica Hernandez in the 79
th as the Coyotes improved to 1-2.
Cal State San Bernardino had a 5-3 advantage in shots on goal.
Erica Torres had three saves for MSU Denver.
Hailey Mazzola had four shots for the Roadrunners.

The Roadrunners conclude their two-game trip to California on Sunday with a noon MDT game at Cal Poly Pomona. The Broncos (1-2) lost to the 11
th-ranked University of Colorado at Colorado Springs 1-0 on Friday.
