DENVER – The MSU Denver men's soccer team returns to the pitch Sunday with an 11 a.m. match against South Dakota Mines.
It's the home opener and first Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference game of the season for the 0-1 Roadrunners.
"We are excited that the RMAC season starts on Sunday," MSU Denver coach
Nick Kirchhof said. "We've been training and working hard to improve and prepare for this weekend. It's another opportunity for us to test ourselves and continue to build on our style and system. The team is hungry and excited to officially open conference play here at home."
MSU Denver is 9-1 all-time against South Dakota Mines, with six straight wins in the series since a 2016 defeat.
The Roadrunners won last season's meetings 4-1 and 4-0.
