DENVER – Metropolitan State University of Denver Director of Athletics
Todd Thurman has announced that a record total of 118 MSU Denver student-athletes have been named to the Athletic Director's Honor Roll for the 2021 fall semester.
Student-athletes are recognized for achieving a grade point average of 3.5 or higher during the semester. MSU Denver had 233 student-athletes enrolled for the first semester, and they compiled an overall GPA of 3.20.
Highlighting the award winners are 34 who earned perfect 4.0 GPAs, five short of the record of 39.
Those with 4.0 GPAs in the fall are: baseball players

It was a banner semester for academic recognition on the conference, district and national levels for the Roadrunners.
Volleyball's Hladky was named to the CoSIDA Academic All-America first team after also earning Academic All-District as well as the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference's Academic Player of the Year and the RMAC Summit Award (highest cumulative GPA of any player at the RMAC Tournament semifinal site). Megenhardt earned her second Academic All-District nod as well as Academic All-RMAC.
Men's soccer's Chiles earned Academic All-District honors, while women's soccer's
Kate Giordano was Academic All-District for the second time and was joined on the Academic All-RMAC team by
Annie Rolf.
Meanwhile,
Vanessa Kort earned her third Academic All-RMAC selection in women's cross country, and was joined on that list by
Erin Norton.
