DENVER – Though rain delayed play for much of the day Saturday, MSU Denver was able to post positive results at the MSU Denver Invitational tennis tournament.
 
MSU Denver players won 10 of the 12 first-round singles matches where scores were reported, including a 5-for-5 showing in the women's A draw and three wins in four tries in the men's A draw.
 
Advancing to the quarterfinals in the men's A draw were 
Jeanloup Auzias, 
Juho Kantola and 
Alejandro Jimenez.
 
Winning first-round matches in the A draw for the women were 
Isabel Heras, 
Lilly Stienemeier, 
Hanna Haber, 
Kambra Roles and 
Kinsey Fields.
 
B draw winners for the women were 
Kim Heddes and 
Kayla Myburgh.
 
Men's B draw results weren't available as of late Saturday night.
The tournament will wrap up Sunday.
