DENVER – Kambra Roles and
Lilly Stienemeier combined for a victory in No. 3 doubles Saturday as MSU Denver played Colorado State in a women's tennis exhibition dual, losing 4-0 to the Rams.
Roles and Stienemeier were 6-4 winners in their match, however Colorado State earned the doubles point with wins at No. 1 and No. 2. The No. 1 match went down to the end before
Kinsey Fields and
Isabel Heras were defeated 7-5.
In singles, Colorado State completed wins at No. 2, No. 3 and No. 5 singles to clinch the dual.
MSU Denver returns to regular-season play Saturday in Kearney, Neb., plays duals against Midwestern State (Texas) and Doane (Neb.).
