Alamosa, Colorado – The Roadrunners ventured south to Alamosa and came away with the 1-0 victory over Adams State to improve to 8-3-4 overall and 7-2 in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference. The Grizzlies fall to 2-10-1 overall and 0-8 in conference play.     
 
The Roadrunners peppered the Grizzlies defense all game long piling up 16 shots with five of those coming on goal. All-conference defender Emily Sirois and All-conference striker Tessa Killmon led the team with four shots each.  
 
MSU Denver finally broke through in the 24^th minute when Adams State took down a Roadrunner in the box giving the visiting team a penalty kick. All-conference midfielder Monica Yoder took the PK and buried it past Grizzly goalkeeper Ashlyn Bartley to give her team the 1-0 advantage. It was Yoder's second goal of the season and the sixth in her two-year Roadrunner career. 
 
The defense was once again on-point for MSU Denver, who held the Grizzlies to just one shot on goal and registering their 11^th shutout this season. Kylie Bach, one of the nation's leaders in clean sheets, had to make one save all game.
