Alamosa, Colorado – The Roadrunners ventured south to Alamosa and came away with the 1-0 victory over Adams State to improve to 8-3-4 overall and 7-2 in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference. The Grizzlies fall to 2-10-1 overall and 0-8 in conference play.
The Roadrunners peppered the Grizzlies defense all game long piling up 16 shots with five of those coming on goal. All-conference defender

Tessa Killmon led the team with four shots each.
MSU Denver finally broke through in the 24
th minute when Adams State took down a Roadrunner in the box giving the visiting team a penalty kick. All-conference midfielder
Monica Yoder took the PK and buried it past Grizzly goalkeeper Ashlyn Bartley to give her team the 1-0 advantage. It was Yoder's second goal of the season and the sixth in her two-year Roadrunner career.
The defense was once again on-point for MSU Denver, who held the Grizzlies to just one shot on goal and registering their 11
th shutout this season.
Kylie Bach, one of the nation's leaders in clean sheets, had to make one save all game.
