IRVINE, Calif. – The MSU Denver men's tennis team was defeated 4-0 Monday in a dual at Concordia University Irvine, while the Roadrunners' women's dual against the same team was canceled due to rain.
 
MSU Denver picked up one victory, at No. 2 doubles, where 
Alejandro Jimenez and 
Jeanloup Auzias were 7-5 winners, however the Eagles won the other two matches to earn the doubles point.
 
Only four singles matches were started – Jimenez played into the third set at No. 1, but the Eagles earned quick victories at Nos. 2, 3 and 4 to clinch the dual.
 
MSU Denver's tennis trip continues Tuesday, with both teams playing at Westmont (Calif.). The women's dual is scheduled for noon PDT, with the men's contest scheduled for 3 p.m. PDT.
