@MSUDenverTennis: Roadrunners Pick Up Victories at Colorado College

Women win 8-1, men 6-3

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – MSU Denver picked up a pair of tennis victories on Saturday at Colorado College, with the women winning 8-1 and the men taking a 6-3 decision.
 
The duals were played under Division III rules, with each doubles match counting towards the team score.
 
The Roadrunners won at all but No. 5 singles in the women's dual, with their top three players – Emily Hafner, Hanna Haber and Lilly Stienemeier – winning their matches while losing five games or less.
 
Stienemeier won her 40th career match, becoming the 14th player in program history to amass at least 40 wins.
 
The MSU Denver men won all three doubles matches and got singles victories at No. 2 (Juho Kantola), No. 4 (Marco Jalalian) and No. 5 (Maximo Lawlor).
