Miah Hartvigsen and
Shelby Robb have been named to the Academic All-District team by College Sports Communicators.
Both players have advanced to the CSC's Academic All-America ballot.
To be eligible for CSC Academic honors, players must have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.50. Position players must have competed in at least 90 percent of team games played OR have started at least 66 percent of the total number of team games played. Pitchers must pitch at least 25 innings or appear in 17 games as a pitcher.
Robb is seeking to repeat as a CSC Academic All-America first team selection.
She has been named to the All-America first team by both the D2CCA and AFCA this season, and was on the D2CCA All-America first team and the AFCA All-America second team in 2021.
Robb is a three-time D2CCA All-South Central Region first team selection (2021, 2023, 2024) and made the NFCA's all-region first team in 2021 and 2024 as well as the second team in 2023. A three-time All-RMAC first team selection (2021, 2023, 2024), she also made All-RMAC honorable mention in 2022.
Robb is a three-time Academic All-District and three-time Academic All-RMAC first team award winner, and won the 2022 RMAC Summit Award, for the highest GPA among players at the league tournament.
She was a 2021 NFCA National Freshman of the Year finalist, when she was also the RMAC Freshman of the Year and won an RMAC Gold Glove. She was on the 2024 NFCA National Player of the Year Watchlist.
In 2024, she ranked seventh in Division II in hits (91), fourth in doubles (25), sixth in doubles per game (0.42) and 16th in batting average (.457). She also ranked in RMAC top 10 and the national top 100 in on-base percentage (.491), RBIs (53), stolen bases (22) and total bases (136).
Her career .425 batting average is the best in program history, and she set the program's single-season record of .535 as a freshman. Her .457 average this season is the third-best ever at MSU Denver and her hits total was a program record. She also compiled top-five program marks for a season in doubles (second), runs (tied for fourth, 62), total bases and stolen bases.
Among active Division II players, she's fifth in career doubles (64), 11th in total bases (421), 15th in hits (257) and 19
th in runs (174) despite missing time in 2022 due to injury. She is seventh among all active NCAA players, regardless of division, in doubles.
Robb is second in program history in hits, doubles and total bases, third in runs and triples, fourth in RBIs, and fifth in stolen bases.
She graduated with a 4.0 cumulative GPA while majoring in sport management, and she is a two-time D2ADA Academic Achievement Award winner and an eight-time selection to the MSU Denver Athletic Director's Honor Roll.
Hartvigsen has made the CSC All-District team for the second consecutive season, and she is also a two-time Academic All-RMAC honor roll selection. She was a 2023 D2CCA All-South Central Region first team and NFCA All-South Central Region second team selection after making the 2023 All-RMAC first team. She was named All-RMAC honorable mention in 2024, when she set program single-season records for total chances (493) and putouts (473). She also ranked seventh in the RMAC and 32nd in Division II in hits (78) while batting .426, sixth in the league and 50
th in Division II. She also ranked in the RMAC top 10 and the Division II top 100 in RBIs (52), doubles (18), on-base percentage (.486) and total bases (122).
Hartvigsen ranks fourth in program history in single-season hits, eighth in batting average, tied for eighth in doubles, and ninth in on-base percentage (.486).
She is a two-time D2ADA Academic Achievement Award winner, a two-year Student-Athlete Advisory Committee representative, and a four-time member of MSU Denver Athletic Director's Honor Roll.
Hartvigsen has a 3.61 GPA while majoring in biology.
