DALLAS – Even after playing the 12
th-ranked team in Division II Thursday night, the MSU Denver women's soccer remains undefeated and unscored upon.
While the Roadrunners are still looking for their first goal of the season, they are still 0-0-3 after playing in their third consecutive 0-0 draw. All of the games have been on the road, with two of the opponents in the current United Soccer Coaches Top 25.
After a slow first half in which it didn't put a shot on goal, the Roadrunners had a 4-3 advantage in shots on goal in the second half and matched Dallas Baptist with seven total shots.
Dallas Baptist, the No. 1 seed for the NCAA Tournament's South Central Regional last year, is the preseason choice to win the Lone Star Conference.
MSU Denver's
Kylie Bach, the reigning Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Goalkeeper of the Week, registered had 19
th career shutout while making seven saves. She has been in goal for all three games this season.
The Roadrunners now have 32 shutouts in the 60 games since
Kat Mertz became head coach in 2021. The shutout streak is the program's longest since posting five consecutive clean sheets in October, 2022.
