MONMOUTH, Ore. – The MSU Denver women's soccer team is still unbeaten and unscored upon in two games to start the season after playing Western Oregon to a 0-0 draw on the road Sunday.
The Roadrunners are 0-0-2, having also played perennial power Western Washington to a 0-0 tie on Thursday.
In Sunday's matchup, goalkeeper
Kylie Bach had three more saves while recording her 18
th career shutout.
Kailani Nuhn and
Isa Durkin each had shots on goal for the Roadrunners.
MSU Denver also started last season with a pair of 0-0 draws.
The Roadrunners have 31 shutouts in the 59 games since
Kat Mertz became head coach.
MSU Denver plays Thursday at Dallas Baptist (1-0) in a 6 p.m. MDT game, then plays its home opener Sunday at noon against Lubbock Christian (Texas).
