DENVER – MSU Denver women's soccer closed out its weekend at home on Sunday, falling 4-0 to No. 11-ranked Colorado School of Mines at the Assembly Athletic Complex. The Roadrunners moved to 1-7-4 overall and 1-4-1 in RMAC play, while the Orediggers improved to 7-2-1 overall and 4-1-0 in conference action.
Colorado School of Mines struck early and often in the first half, taking a 3-0 lead into halftime before adding one more goal in the 60th minute. Despite the scoreline, MSU Denver matched the Orediggers in total shots at nine apiece and generated multiple quality chances in the second half.
Monica Yoder, Jenelle Arenibas, and Addison Mandeville each recorded shots on goal for the Roadrunners, while Kayla Caballero made one save in goal. MSU Denver also earned five corner kicks to Mines' four, maintaining consistent pressure throughout the match.
The Roadrunners now hit the road for a two-game conference trip, beginning Thursday, October 16, against Regis, before heading north to face Black Hills State on Sunday, October 19.
