@MSUDenverMBB: Roadrunners Tabbed Sixth in RMAC Preseason Poll

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — The Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference announced its 2025–26 Men's Basketball Preseason Coaches' Poll on Tuesday, and MSU Denver was picked to finish sixth among the league's 15 teams.

The Roadrunners earned 137 points, including one second-place and two third-place votes, in the poll conducted among RMAC head coaches. Coaches were not permitted to vote for their own team.

Black Hills State claimed the top spot with 183 points and 10 first-place votes, followed by Colorado School of Mines (167 points, three first-place votes) and Colorado Mesa (158 points, one first-place vote). UCCS and Fort Lewis rounded out the top five, just ahead of the Roadrunners.

MSU Denver is coming off a strong 2024–25 campaign in which the Roadrunners made a late-season surge and returned to the RMAC Tournament. With a talented mix of returning veterans and new additions, head coach Dan Ficke will look to push MSU Denver back toward the top tier of the conference standings.

The Roadrunners will open their season on Sunday, November 16, at 3 p.m. MT against Texas A&M International before beginning RMAC play in early December.
