This Week in Roadrunners Athletics

DENVER — Another busy weekend is on tap for MSU Denver Athletics, with volleyball, men's soccer, and women's soccer all set for key matchups as the fall seasons near the home stretch.

Volleyball
Thursday, Oct. 30 – vs. Colorado Mesa (Denver, Colo.) – 6 p.m.

Saturday, Nov. 1 – vs. South Dakota Mines (Denver, Colo.) – 4 p.m.

The No. 12-ranked MSU Denver volleyball team continues to roll as it hosts a pair of pod play matches this weekend at the Auraria Event Center. The Roadrunners enter the week 17-3 overall and 9-1 in RMAC play, riding an eight-match winning streak, all by sweep — a dominant stretch that has seen MSU Denver win 24 consecutive sets.

While this weekend's matches against Colorado Mesa and South Dakota Mines will not count toward the RMAC standings, they provide valuable competition as the Roadrunners look to stay sharp entering the final weeks of the regular season.

Men's Soccer
Friday, Oct. 31 – vs. Westminster (Denver, Colo.) – 6 p.m.

Sunday, Nov. 2 – at Colorado Mesa (Grand Junction, Colo.) – 3 p.m.

MSU Denver men's soccer returns home Friday night for a key RMAC showdown against Westminster before traveling to face Colorado Mesa on Sunday. The Roadrunners sit at 7-3-5 overall and 5-1-1 in RMAC play, currently in second place in the conference standings.

After seeing their nine-match unbeaten streak come to an end last weekend, the Roadrunners will look to bounce back and solidify their spot among the league's top contenders as the regular season winds down.

Women's Soccer
Friday, Oct. 31 – at Western Colorado (Gunnison, Colo.) – 6 p.m.

Sunday, Nov. 2 – at Fort Lewis (Durango, Colo.) – 1 p.m.

The MSU Denver women's soccer team heads on the road for a critical RMAC weekend with postseason implications on the line. The Roadrunners enter at 1-7-7 overall and 1-4-4 in RMAC play, having tied their last three matches.

MSU Denver is currently tied with Western Colorado in the RMAC standings, and Friday's matchup could prove pivotal in the hunt for the final spot in the RMAC Tournament. The Roadrunners will then travel to Fort Lewis on Sunday to close out the weekend.
