GUNNISON, Colo. — The No. 11-ranked MSU Denver volleyball team continued its dominant run with a straight-set victory over Western Colorado on Saturday night, winning 25-17, 25-16, 25-17 at Paul Wright Gymnasium. The Roadrunners improved to 21-3 overall and 11-1 in RMAC play, while the Mountaineers fell to 1-23 and 0-13 RMAC.

MSU Denver hit an impressive .382 as a team, holding Western Colorado to just .092.

Annika Helf led the way with eight kills on .667 hitting and 11 digs, while Skyler Michael also had nine kills at a .500 clip. 

GabriElle Brewer added a balanced performance with four kills and 14 assists, and Alyssa Boyte contributed eight and a half points thanks to a strong blocking presence.

The Roadrunners have now won 12 consecutive matches, maintaining their hold near the top of the conference standings.

MSU Denver will return home next weekend to close out the regular season with matches against Adams State and New Mexico Highlands at the Auraria Event Center.
