DENVER — The awards keep coming for one of Division II volleyball's most accomplished leaders. MSU Denver head coach Jenny Glenn has been named the AVCA South Central Region Coach of the Year, the American Volleyball Coaches Association announced Wednesday morning. It marks the third time Glenn has earned the prestigious regional honor (2016, 2021, 2025), further cementing her status as one of the nation's elite coaches.
The recognition is the seventh coach of the year award of Glenn's career, adding to her four RMAC Coach of the Year selections (2016, 2021, 2022, 2023). Now in her 10th season at the helm, Glenn has guided the Roadrunners to unparalleled consistency — 10 NCAA Tournament appearances in 10 seasons, three RMAC Tournament titles, and sustained national prominence.
MSU Denver enters this week's NCAA Tournament at 26-3 overall, riding a 17-match winning streak, having lost just three RMAC matches since the 2020 season. The Roadrunners also set a program record with 30 consecutive set wins earlier this fall and secured the No. 1 seed in the South Central Region, earning hosting rights for the NCAA Regional for the third time under Glenn (2021, 2022, 2025).
Glenn's impact this season extends beyond wins and titles. Under her direction:
All three awards underscore the depth, development, and culture Glenn has built — one that thrives on excellence in every aspect of collegiate athletics.
With her third RMAC Tournament championship freshly secured last weekend and the Roadrunners preparing to host the South Central Regional beginning Thursday, Glenn now turns her attention to one challenge that has eluded the program: advancing past the regional round and into the Elite Eight.
But with a top seed, a 17-match surge, and one of the strongest rosters of her tenure, Glenn's Roadrunners once again enter the NCAA postseason as a team built for the moment — and led by one of the best coaches in the nation.
