DENVER — The accolades continue to roll in for No. 9 MSU Denver volleyball, as the Roadrunners dominated the RMAC's Academic All-Conference announcement on Wednesday afternoon. Led by Alyssa Boyte, the 2025 RMAC Academic Player of the Year, MSU Denver placed a league-best five student-athletes on the First Team Academic All-RMAC, while adding 10 more to the Academic Honor Roll.
It marks a milestone academic haul for the program—and the first time since 2021 that MSU Denver has featured both the conference's Summit Award winner and Academic Player of the Year in the same season.
Boyte, a sophomore psychology major with a perfect 4.0 GPA, becomes the first Roadrunner to win the RMAC's top academic honor since Rylee Hladky in 2023. Her selection adds another highlight to an extraordinary season that already includes RMAC Defensive Player of the Year and D2CCA All-Region First Team honors.
Sophomore libero/defensive specialist Mia Accomazzo continues her breakout year by landing First Team Academic All-RMAC, just days after winning the prestigious RMAC Summit Award for carrying the highest GPA among all student-athletes competing at the RMAC Championship site.
Junior middle blocker Kryssa Moerman remains one of the conference's most consistent academic standouts—earning First Team Academic All-RMAC honors for the second straight season, the only player in the RMAC to repeat on the first team this year.
MSUD set the standard academically across the conference, earning more First Team selections than any other program:
