DENVER – The MSU Denver Roadrunners baseball program has announced schedule changes to its upcoming series against the University of Mary Marauders baseball this weekend at Assembly Athletic Complex.

Originally scheduled to run Friday through Sunday, the four-game conference series will now be played across two doubleheaders on Friday and Saturday, with both days beginning at Noon.

Each doubleheader will feature one nine-inning game and one seven-inning game.

The schedule adjustment was made due to forecasted cold temperatures and high winds expected Sunday, prompting the programs to move all four games to the first two days of the weekend.

The Roadrunners will open the series Friday at 12 p.m., followed by the second game of the doubleheader later in the afternoon. The teams will return to the field Saturday for another Noon doubleheader to conclude the series.

MSU Denver enters the weekend looking to continue its strong start to conference play after opening Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference competition with a four-game sweep last week.
