MSU Denver broke through in the bottom of the second inning when Blake Wilson roped an RBI double to give the Roadrunners the early lead. Moments later, Jared Swarbrick delivered a two-run double to center field that extended the advantage to 3-0.
After Noah Wicks reached base with a walk, Lathen Buzard followed with a ground-rule RBI double to push the lead to 4-0 and cap the four-run frame.

The outing marked the longest start by an MSU Denver pitcher since the 2022 season.
With two runners aboard in the ninth, Carter Swan entered to record the final out and secure his third save of the season.
At the plate, Buzard led the offense with a perfect 3-for-3 performance with an RBI and a walk, while Swarbrick went 2-for-4 with two RBIs, a run scored and a walk.
The victory marked MSU Denver's fifth consecutive win.
