DENVER – The Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference announced its 2025-26 Women's Basketball All-RMAC teams Thursday morning, with two members of the MSU Denver Roadrunners earning postseason honors.
Senior guard Mikylah Espinosa was named First Team All-RMAC, while sophomore guard Nevaeh Millard collected Second Team All-RMAC recognition following standout seasons that helped power the Roadrunners to a 15-13 overall record and a 13-7 mark in conference play.
Espinosa capped her decorated career with another first-team nod, marking her second All-RMAC selection after also earning First Team honors during the 2023-24 season.
The senior led MSU Denver in points (492), field goals made (182), 3-pointers made (47), assists (98) and steals (65), serving as the engine behind the Roadrunners' offense and defensive pressure.
On the conference leaderboard, Espinosa ranked:
- 5th in the RMAC in scoring at 17.9 points per game
- 5th in free-throw percentage at .813
- 4th in assists per game (3.5)
- 2nd in total steals (63) and steals per game (2.3)
She also etched her name into program history this winter, becoming the 14th player in MSU Denver history to reach the 1,000-point milestone. Espinosa now ranks third all-time in scoring in program history, cementing her legacy among the program's elite.
Her season was filled with signature moments. Espinosa poured in a career-high 37 points in a victory over Colorado State University Pueblo, knocking down five 3-pointers and adding four steals in one of the most dominant individual performances in recent memory. She also delivered one of the defining plays of the year, sinking a game-winning buzzer-beating layup on the road against South Dakota Mines to secure a 57-56 victory.
Millard followed up her All-RMAC Honorable Mention freshman campaign by earning Second Team honors as a sophomore.
She finished second on the team in points (358) and field goals made (122), while ranking second in free-throw percentage (.804), third in assists (44) and second in steals (49). Millard averaged 13.0 points per game, good for 15th in the RMAC, and ranked sixth in the conference in free-throw percentage. Her 1.8 steals per game also placed 15th in the league.
Millard delivered multiple career performances throughout the season, including two 29-point outings. One came against Manhattan Christian College, where she shot a remarkable 11-of-12 (.917) from the field — one of the most efficient scoring performances by a Roadrunner in program history. She also scored 29 points in RMAC play against Western Colorado University.
Together, Espinosa and Millard formed one of the most dynamic backcourts in the conference, combining scoring efficiency, defensive intensity and late-game shot-making to lead MSU Denver back into postseason contention.
With two All-RMAC selections highlighting the season, the Roadrunners continue to build momentum heading into the future.
