DENVER — MSU Denver junior infielder Marques Abulhosn was named RMAC Player of the Week on Tuesday afternoon after a dominant stretch at the plate, highlighted by one of the most productive offensive weekends in the conference this season.
The junior continued to showcase elite consistency, extending his on-base streak to 17 consecutive games, the longest active streak by a Roadrunner this year.
His award-winning week was capped by a breakout weekend in which he went 8-for-16 with four home runs, 11 RBIs, 10 runs scored, three hit-by-pitches, and two walks. The surge firmly established him as one of the most dangerous hitters in the RMAC and marked a historic power display, as he became the first Roadrunner since the 2024 season to hit three or more home runs in a single game.
With his combination of power, patience, and run production, Abulhosn continues to be a driving force in the MSU Denver lineup as the Roadrunners push through conference play.
