GOODYEAR, Ariz. – MSU Denver wrapped up its first tournament of the 2026-27 season Tuesday, finishing 16th at the RJGA Shootout at Estrella at the Estrella Golf Club.
The Roadrunners finished 71-over par with a two-round team score of 647 (321-326), placing 16th in the 16-team field. The tournament marked the first competition for MSU Denver under new head coach Jaylee Tait.
Izabella Pesicka led the Roadrunners individually, finishing tied for 56th at 15-over par. Pesicka opened with an 81 before carding a 78 in the final round to finish with a two-round total of 159.
Ainsley Stover followed, tying for 60th at 16-over par. Stover posted rounds of 78 and 82 for a two-round total of 160.
Lauren Mack finished tied for 64th at 17-over par after shooting 79 in the opening round and 82 in the second round. Rien Solodan rounded out the MSU Denver lineup, tying for 78th at 23-over par with rounds of 83 and 84 for a 167.
The Roadrunners' final-round score of 326 was five strokes higher than their opening-round 321.
The RJGA Shootout at Estrella served as MSU Denver's opening event of the fall and the first tournament of Tait's tenure leading the Roadrunners.
