The No. 12 Metro State women's soccer team (17-1-3, 11-0-2 RMAC) claimed its fourth RMAC Tournament title with a 1-0 victory over Regis, Sunday afternoon at Auraria Field. The tournament crown was the 'Runners first since 2005.

Tournament MVP Becca Mays scored the only goal of the game in the 17th minute. The junior forward's shot deflected off a Regis defender and into the goal. The Rangers managed 10 shots on goal, but MSCD goalkeeper Becca Maloney did not allow a goal.

Metro State will likely be a host for next weekend's NCAA Regional Tournament, to be announced Monday afternoon by the NCAA.
