The No. 8 Metro State Women's Soccer team (4-1-2, 1-0-1 RMAC) battled Colorado School of Mines (2-1-2, 1-0-1 RMAC) to a scoreless tie, Sunday afternoon in Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC) play in Golden, Colo.
MSCD had its chances during regulation play with five shots on goal compared to just three for Mines. The Orediggers turned the tables in the two overtime periods, with six shots on goal compared to the 'Runners zero. Junior goalkeeper Becca Maloney came out big for the Roadrunners with nine total saves.
Metro State will face UC-Colorado Springs, Friday at 3 p.m. in Colorado Springs.
