All-Time Series Records:
Colorado Christian: Metro State leads the all-time series 28-12-2, but is tied 9-9-1 in games played at CCU. However, Metro State has won the past 12 games in the series dating back to 2003. Metro State has outscored CCU 63-2 in 10 games since 2004.

Colorado Mines: Colorado Mines leads the all-time series 21-19-4, including 11-9-1 in games played in Golden. Metro State has, however, won the past three games, all of which were played last season.

Roadrunners Update:
Metro State had its first winless weekend of the season as it tied Regis 1-1 on Friday and fell to No. 9 Fort Lewis 2-0 on Sunday. On Friday, Scott Crawford (Arvada, Colo./Pomona H.S.) scored in the first half for Metro State's only goal. Dominique Griffith (Aurora, Colo./Smoky Hill H.S.) made a career-high 11 saves. On Sunday, in a game that saw 10 cautions handed out, the Roadrunners were outshot 15-7.

For the season, Steven Emory (Fort Collins, Colo./Fort Collins H.S.) and Ri Armstrong (Aurora, Colo./Rangeview H.S.) are tied for the team-lead with seven points each on three goals and one assist. Scott Grode (Gilbert, Ariz./Basha H.S.) also has three goals. Tyler Hambrick (Northglenn, Colo./Faith Christian H.S.) leads the team with four assists. Dominique Griffith (Aurora, Colo./Smoky Hill H.S.) has played every minute in goal, posting a 1.27 GAA and .727 save percentage.

RMAC Player of the Week:
Dominique Griffith (Aurora, Colo./Smoky Hill H.S.) was named RMAC Defensive Player of the Week on Sept. 1 after he made five saves in his first career game in Metro State's 2-0 win over the University of Mary (N.D.) on Saturday at Auraria Field. He became the first Metro State goalkeeper to earn a shutout in his Roadrunner debut since Zac Loescher on Sept. 2, 1996, in a 3-0 win over Colorado State-Pueblo.

Long Road Trip
The Roadrunners opened the season at home, but are in the middle of a seven-game road trip away from Auraria Field. It will tie the school record for most consecutive games played away from home. Metro State played seven consecutive neutral site or away games in 2006 from Sept. 29 through Oct. 15. Metro State posted a 5-1-1 record during that road trip.

Season Openers:
Metro State has now won nine of its past 10 season opening games, including three straight after the 2-0 win over Mary (N.D.) on Aug. 29.. Last season the Roadrunners opened with a 3-0 win over St. Martin's (Wash.). The only loss since 2000 came as a 3-2 overtime loss in 2006 at home against Midwestern State (Texas).

In the Rankings:
The Roadrunners opened the season ranked 21st in the preseason NSCAA top-25 poll and jumped to No. 13 in the Sept. 1 poll. A complete listing of where Metro State has been ranked this season is listed on page 4.
