Box Score AUSTIN, Texas - Metro State suffered its first loss of the season, falling 2-1 at No. 18 St. Edward's (Texas) on Friday afternoon. The Roadrunners dropped to 2-1 on the season, while SEU improved to 3-0.

The Hilltoppers never trailed in the game, scoring first at 23:53 on a goal from Lauren Heller off a corner kick from Kelly Davis.

That score remained through halftime until Karisa Price (Gilbert, Ariz./Highland H.S.) scored for MSU to tie the game just over two minutes into the second half. Jordan Simkins (Bozeman, Mont./Bozeman H.S.) made six saves in goal for the Roadrunners, who were outshot 14-12 in the game.
