•   Head coach
Debbie Hendricks is one win away reach 300 wins at Metro State on Oct. 17 in a 3-2 victory over CSU-Pueblo.
•   Hendricks is two wins away from 500 for her career (currently 498-206).
•   Hendricks will become the 15th active NCAA Division II head coach with 500 career wins and the 29th in Division II history.
•   Metro State is already 5-1 in matches that go to five sets (school record for most 5-set wins is seven in 2006 and 2009).

Betty Van Lith (Eagle, Idaho/Eagle H.S.) took over the setter position on Oct. 17 to rally the team to a 3-2 win and averaged.
•   In the 10 sets Van Lith started Oct. 17-19 (team went 8-2 in those sets), she averaged 11.3 assists and 1.4 kills, while helping the team hit .300.

Alysa Heath (Littleton, Colo./Chatfield H.S.) averaged 3.92 kills and 1.08 digs and hit .343 in three matches Oct. 17-19.

Lauren Quijano (Wildomar, Calif./Elsinore H.S.) has been on fire since Sept. 21, hitting .330 and averaging 3.49 kills and 0.67 blocks over her past 10 matches.
•   Quijano hit a career-high .750 at N.M. Highlands on Oct. 11 with nine kills and zero errors in just 12 attempts.
•   Quijano was named RMAC offensive player of the week on Sept. 30 after averaging 4.33 kills and hitting .397 in two matches Sept. 27-28.

Alysa Heath (Littleton, Colo./Chatfield H.S.) was named RMAC offensive player of the week on Sept. 10, after averaging 3.81 kills and hitting .355 at the Western Oregon tournament.
•   Heath was named to the Colorado Premier Challenge all-tournament team after averaging 3.57 kills and hitting .270 in four matches.
•   Metro State earned a 3-1 win over No. 17 Colorado Mines on Sept. 27, its first win over a ranked opponent since a 3-2 win over No. 5 Central Missouri on Sept. 7 last season.
•   For the first time in school history, Metro State went to five sets in its first two matches to open the season.
•   It was the first time Metro State has won back-to-back five-set matches since 2011 (Oct. 21 & Oct. 22).
•   It was the first time Metro State has played in two five-set matches in the same day since Oct. 22, 1988.
•   Metro State is 8-6 in season-opening matches under head coach

•   Metro State was picked second in the RMAC preseason coaches poll behind Regis.

Brandi Torr (Albuquerque, N.M./La Cueva H.S.) is the first freshman setter to play in a season-opening match for MSU Denver since 2008 (Darcy Schwartzman) and the first to start since 2006 (Stephanie Levi).
