Box Score GOLDEN, Colo. - Abby Rolph (Golden, Colo./Golden H.S.) scored with 3:03 left in the first overtime period to give Metro State a 2-1 win over Midwestern State (Texas) in the first round of the NCAA tournament on Friday in Golden, Colo. The Roadrunners, seeded fifth in the South Central Region, improved to 13-4-3, while the Mustangs, seeded fourth, fell to 13-5-3.
Metro State will play at top-seed and second-ranked Colorado Mines at noon on Sunday.
