Metro State's women's soccer team will travel to Canyon, Texas, to face West Texas A&M on Thursday and No. 14 Dallas Baptist on Saturday.

Notes:
• Head coach Adrianne Pietz was married over the summer, changing her last name from Almaraz.
• MSU Denver went 2-1 in three exhibitions, falling 3-1 at Northern Colorado before a 2-0 win over Colorado State and a 3-0 in its alumni game.
• Brandi Farley (Colorado Springs/Pine Creek H.S.) led the team with four goals during the preseason and Abby Rolph (Golden, Colo./Golden H.S.) and Karisa Price (Gilbert, Ariz./Highland H.S.) each had one.
• Marie Ipock (Los Lunas, N.M./Los Lunas H.S.) had two preseason assists and Rolph, Jordan Post (Spearfish, S.D./Spearfish H.S.) and Maggie Rojas (Minnetonka, Minn./Minnetonka H.S.) each had one.
• Nicole Jablonski (White Lake, Mich./Walled Lake Northern H.S.) started two games and played in all three in goal, posting a 0.80 GAA and .714 save percentage.
