Men's tennis: Roadrunners fall at Air Force in spring opener

USAFA, Colo. - Metro State's men's tennis team opened the spring portion of the 2013-14 season with a 6-1 loss at NCAA Division I Air Force on Saturday morning. The Roadrunners dropped to 2-1 overall this season, while AFA improved to 5-1.

Josh Graetz (Albury, Australia/The Scots School) picked up the team's only win at No. 2 singles, winning 6-5 (7-1), 6-4 over Jack McCullers. Several others had close matches as Nick Baker (Lee's Summit, Mo./Lee's Summit West H.S.) fell 6-3, 6-4 at No. 3 singles and Jonathan Evangelista (Brighton, Colo./Brighton Collegiate H.S.) lost in three sets at No. 4.

The Roadrunners continue their season on Feb. 20 at Dallas Baptist.
