GREELEY, Colo. - Metro State's men's and women's tennis teams both fell 7-0 at Northern Colorado on Friday. The women's team dropped to 1-9 overall, while the men's team fell to 3-4.
For the men in singles matches, No. 1
Josh Graetz (Albury, Australia/The Scots School) and No. 5
Trevor Jones (Vancouver, Wash./Mountain View H.S.) both lost in three sets. Two of the three doubles matches were 8-7 decisions.
On the women's side, No. 1
Naomi Holopainen (Lahti, Finland/Salpausselän H.S.) also lost in three sets.
Metro State is scheduled to host St. Edward's (Texas) on Saturday the The Regency Athletic Complex at MSU Denver, weather permitting.
