Box Score POMONA, Calif. - No. 18 Metropolitan State University of Denver fell 3-1 at Cal Poly Pomona on Friday. It was the first loss of the season for the Roadrunners as they dropped to 2-1-0, while CPP improved to 3-1-0.

Daisy Duran had a huge day for the Broncos, scoring twice and assisting on the other goal. She scored at 7:38 and again at 79:44. Duran assisted on Amanda Gomez's goal at 73:18.

The Roadrunners got on the scoreboard at 88:25 when Karisa Price (Gilbert, Ariz./Highland H.S.) headed in a cross from Abby Rolph (Golden, Colo./Golden H.S.).

Breanna Flores (Gilbert, Ariz./Gilbert H.S.) made seven saves for MSU Denver.

The Roadrunners will be back in action on Sunday at Cal State Dominguez Hills.
