Denver- The Metropolitan State University of Denver men's tennis team fell to Division One opponent Oral Roberts by a final of 6-3 on Thursday, April 7 at the Regency Athletic Complex.

In singles play, freshman Joey Tscherne was the highlight of the day for the Roadrunners, winning against Barnabas Koncz 6-3, 7-6 in No. 1 position. Sophomore Calum Hayes was the other Roadrunner able to notch a singles victory in the No. 6 spot over Alvaro Santamaria 2-6, 6-1, 10-6.

Junior Parker Jones and sopomore Marty Lukosiunas were the only Roadrunners to earn a doubles win for MSU Denver, defeating Barnabas Koncz/Amar Saletovic 8-4. 

The Roadrunners men drop to 7-13 on their season. Next up for MSU Denver will be another home match against Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference foe CSU-Pueblo on Friday, April 8 at 10 a.m
