Denver- The Metropolitan State University of Denver men's tennis team defeated Sonoma State 5-1 on Sunday, April 2 at the Regency Athletic Complex.
 
The Roadrunners took two of the three doubles matches, and clenched the match taking three singles matches.  
 
"Today's match was tough," said head coach Daniel Hangstefer." " The guys fought through some difficult situations but came out on top.  I think that is a testament to the teams focus and determination they have put in all year."
